15th January, 2011- Byron Bay Photoshoot
Today I went to Byron Bay with one of my good friends, Chloe because she was asked to take part in a photoshoot. I went along not only because I like Byron Bay but because I wanted to see what a photoshoot is really like. I even got to be apart of some of the photos throughout the day. The photographer of the shoot was Connie Lawson who has been in the business for a reasonably long time, during the time spent with Connie I managed to gain a large understanding of how photoshoots work, and the effort put in towards them, throughout the day Connie had learned about my love of photography and she offered me alot of advice throughout the day which really helped me and I think will have an impact on my photography. I learnt to always take test shots to test the lighting and ways to make sure the colouring in the pictures is correct and not too green or too blue etc. Connie was really inspiring and I'm hoping that one day I can be close to the established photographer which she is. During the day I took some pictures of my own with my camera. I loved the setting in which the pictures were taken so much that I'm hoping to go back to byron bay to take my own pictures for personal project.
